    We have a lot of great opportunities coming our way here at the Garretson Road church of Christ. I will be talking about a few of them in my sermon this morning. I want to highlight one particular weekend right now.

    On Saturday, June 11 we will be hosting a community picnic here at the building. It is a great chance for us to invite people to get to know us. There will be lots of good food, games and prizes. Please make it a priority to be here and to invite people you know to join us.

    On Sunday, June 12 we will be having a guest speaker for our Sunday class time and in our Worship time. The guest speaker is Chris Swinford from the Sunset International Bible Institute. He will be speaking about the Solar Event project that we have supported so generously over the past two years. I am very excited about hearing of the progress being made to spread the gospel message to so many people in Africa.

    Please take advantage of these two great opportunities to encourage others and be encouraged by others.
